Wolfmother Celebrates the 20th Anniversary of Its Debut Album at the Roig Arena Auditorium Hall
The band Ciclonautas opened the night in which Wolfmother returned to 2005 to revisit the songs from the album that launched them to fame.
“Dimension”, “Colossal” and “Joker and the Thief” were among the songs performed during the concert.
Australian rock band Wolfmother delivered a powerful performance tonight at the Roig Arena Auditorium Hall, celebrating the 20th anniversary of its debut album. Led by Andrew Stockdale, the Australian band headlined a night marked by huge riffs, high-energy sound and a setlist focused primarily on the songs from the 2005 record that propelled them to international success.
The evening began with a performance by Ciclonautas, who warmed up the audience ahead of the Australian band’s explosive rock show. Shortly after 9:00 p.m., Wolfmother took to the stage with “Dimension”, one of the band’s most iconic songs and a cornerstone in the development of their distinctive sound.
Throughout the concert, the audience also enjoyed other classics from the debut album, including “White Unicorn”, with its signature psychedelic atmosphere, and “Mind’s Eye”, the band’s first single. The setlist also featured essential tracks such as “Woman”, one of Wolfmother’s most recognizable songs. While the spotlight remained firmly on the material from their debut record, the band also revisited later stages of its career with songs such as “New Moon Rising”, taken from its second studio album, Cosmic Egg.
The final stretch of the concert raised the intensity even further with performances of “Colossal” and “Joker and the Thief”, two of the band’s greatest classics, which sparked euphoric reactions from the audience and shook the Roig Arena Auditorium Hall. “Love Train” was chosen as the closing song, bringing an unforgettable night of rock to an end.
