Roig Arena To Host A Video Game Music Festival Led By Nobuo Uematsu on December 18

Roig Arena will host Japan Sound Quest on December 18, a festival dedicated to Japanese video game music featuring the legendary composer of the classic “Final Fantasy” soundtracks, Nobuo Uematsu. The Japanese musician will perform alongside his band Tiki Show, which also includes Chihiro Fujioka, director of “Super Mario RPG”.

In addition to Uematsu, the festival will feature pianist Kumi Tanioka, known for her work on “Final Fantasy XI” and compositions for “Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles”, “Super Smash Bros” and the more recent “Yoshi and the Mysterious Book”. The lineup is completed by another renowned composer of Japanese role-playing game music, Noriyuki Iwadare, who will perform pieces from his most celebrated titles, including “Grandia” and “Lunar”, among others.

Collaborations between artists on stage will be one of the highlights of an event that pays tribute to the great figures of video game music. It will also mark the first time Nobuo Uematsu performs a full concert in Spain. This unprecedented event in the country will also feature additional surprises to be revealed over time.
