Malaga-born singer-songwriter El Kanka will arrive at Roig Arena on January 31 as part of his “La Calma Tour”. The artist has spent more than fifteen years building a career that blends humor, poetry, and everyday philosophy, with a repertoire that celebrates life and the little things.
With six albums to his name —“Lo mal que estoy y lo poco que me quejo” (2012), “El día de suerte de Juan Gómez” (2014), “De pana y rubí” (2015), “El arte de saltar” (2018), “Cosas de los vivientes” (2023), and “Las Canciones” (2025)— El Kanka has consolidated a distinctive sonic identity. His style, as hard to label as it is easy to recognize, moves between rumba, pop, trova, and singer-songwriter traditions.
In 2023 he was named Malagueño del Año in the field of culture, and in 2024 he delivered the opening speech of the Málaga Fair. Each of his concerts is a shared celebration where humor, emotion, and connection with the audience come together in a single voice.
