The Colombian vallenato group Binomio de Oro de América brought together nearly 2,000 people tonight at the Roig Arena Auditorium Hall, where they celebrated their 50-year career with a concert featuring some of the most iconic songs in their repertoire.

With a sold-out crowd, the evening opened with performances by Alejandro Palacio, former lead vocalist of Binomio de Oro de América, and Amín Martínez, founder and historic voice of Los Chiches Vallenatos and a key figure in romantic vallenato.

Next up was Binomio de Oro de América, one of the most celebrated acts in Colombian vallenato. Founded in Barranquilla in 1976 by singer Rafael Orozco and accordionist Israel Romero, the group has become a benchmark for the genre over the past five decades and has served as a launching pad for numerous artists.

Framed within the celebration of the group's five-decade career, the concert at Roig Arena paid tribute to the legacy built by Rafael Orozco and Israel Romero, taking the audience on a journey through different eras of the band's history.

Throughout the night, they performed some of their biggest hits, including "Cómo te olvido," "Olvídala," "Niña Bonita," and "Si tu amor no vuelve," alongside classics from the Rafael Orozco era such as "Solo para ti," "El llanto de un rey," and "La creciente."
