This is “Si Vuelves”, the first single from Vetusta Morla’s new album

Vetusta Morla released today "Si Vuelves", the first single of their new musical era. The Madrid-based band will perform at Roig Arena on October 9, in a concert that will also feature songs from their upcoming album.

The album reflects on the idea of returning and on the need to come back when there is healing, recognition and appreciation. “Ultimately, when we become owners of our own future,” the band explains.

By the time the album is released, nearly three years of creative rest will have passed since the launch of Figurantes in 2024. At the beginning of 2026, the band's six members reunited in their rehearsal space to write and perform new songs together for more than seven months. The result of this intense creative process is a tour that marks the beginning of a new cycle, one in which they will present completely unreleased material on stage.

The philosophy behind this unconventional way of introducing new songs is the same one that has always guided the band: “Vetusta has always been, above all, about songs. And songs are only truly born when people come together. In the end, they become shared memories. This return is not just a tour, it is about reactivating that unique mechanism through which music happens between people.”

What lies ahead is a more organic and approachable Vetusta Morla, with pockets full of great songs that reconnect with the spirit of the band that shook up the Spanish music scene with its debut almost 20 years ago.

Vetusta Morla is opening a new chapter to tear down new walls, explore new paths and once again pursue what seems impossible to reach. As the band puts it: “In a world full of uncertainty and moving too fast to understand it, or to understand ourselves, gathering around a song remains one of the most genuine ways of imagining that things can turn out well.”
