Rules for access, attendance, and conduct

General Rules for Roig Arena Facilities
These rules may be subject to exceptions and/or modifications for specific events or shows. Sporting events of the Valencia Basket Club will be governed by their own protocols and regulations.

Access and Stay Prohibitions

Access to and stay within the Roig Arena Facilities will be denied to any person who meets any of the following conditions:

  • Does not possess a ticket and/or any other valid access pass.

  • Has participated in disturbances, fights, or public disorder in the vicinity of the Roig Arena Facilities, or poses a risk to the safety of event attendees, as well as those who do not comply with the instructions of the Operator’s security staff.

  • Is banned from accessing other venues of similar characteristics.

  • Displays behavior that may be considered inappropriate, offensive, violent, or incites racism or discrimination of any kind based on birth, race or ethnicity, disability, religion or beliefs, sex, sexual orientation, or any other personal or social circumstance.

  • Is visibly intoxicated or under the influence of narcotics, psychotropic substances, stimulants, or similar-effect beverages.

  • Is barefoot or shirtless.

Prohibited Items

It is forbidden to enter, bring in, carry, or use inside the Roig Arena Facilities:

  • Any type of weapon or object that could produce the same effects, such as sharp or cutting elements; as well as flares, firecrackers, explosives, or, in general, flammable, smoke-producing, or corrosive products and pyrotechnic devices.

  • Any objects deemed by the Operator’s security personnel as capable of being used as projectiles or thrown objects, or that exceed 500 grams or 500 milliliters in volume.

  • Tennis balls, golf balls, soccer balls, rolls of toilet paper, and similar items that could pose a safety risk during the event.

  • Large objects such as suitcases, boxes, non-collapsible umbrellas, motorcycle or scooter helmets, baby strollers, etc., or any object that (i) may obstruct evacuation, (ii) could be used as a weapon or projectile, or (iii) could disrupt the normal functioning of the event, all at the discretion of the Operator’s security personnel. Only small backpacks or bags of up to 25 liters capacity are permitted.

  • Banners, flags, symbols, or other signs containing messages that incite violence, are offensive, contain threats or insults, or target a person or group with discrimination based on birth, race or ethnicity, disability, religion or personal beliefs, sex or sexual orientation, or any other personal or social circumstance. Also prohibited are any items that insult the dignity of individuals or institutions, public or private, or that show clear contempt toward event participants, especially those that attack the honor, privacy, or image of the Operator and its associates.

  • Banners, flags, symbols, or other signs exceeding A3 size. No rigid poles or supports are allowed under any circumstances.

  • Professional photography or video equipment, TV cameras, or professional microphones, tablets, laptops, and/or similar devices without prior authorization from the Operator. The broadcasting, reproduction, or supply to third parties of any image or sound from the event is prohibited.

  • Illegal substances, drugs, narcotics, and psychotropic substances, or in general, anything that could pose a risk to the integrity of people or property within the Roig Arena Facilities, including CBD products.

  • Any other element or object prohibited by law or regulation.

The Operator is not responsible for the loss or theft of attendees’ belongings during their stay in the Roig Arena Facilities.

Security Checks

Attendees may be subject to inspection by the Operator’s security staff at the entrance to the Roig Arena Facilities, or at any time inside if deemed necessary, in compliance with current regulations. Refusal to undergo inspection may result in denial of entry or immediate expulsion.

Attendees’ bags and backpacks will be subject to inspection, in accordance with applicable regulations.

The Roig Arena Facilities provide, within capacity limits, an external paid cloakroom service for storing items that cannot be brought inside. For organizational reasons, if you leave the line to use the cloakroom, your place in line cannot be held. Cloakroom rules can be found on the official website.

Beverages

You may bring water into the Roig Arena Facilities only if it is in a plastic, laminated paper, or similar container, preferably recyclable or reusable, without a cap, and with a maximum capacity of 50 cl (small bottle). For security reasons, no other type of beverage—alcoholic, soft drinks, or similar—may be brought in.

The sale, dispensing, and supply of alcoholic beverages inside the Roig Arena Facilities to persons under 18 is prohibited. The sale, supply, and consumption of alcoholic beverages in public streets is strictly prohibited.

Food

For food safety reasons, bringing food into the Roig Arena Facilities is not recommended. If you do bring food, it must be packaged and not contained in rigid containers (metal, glass, ceramic, or similar materials), and it must not require the use of cutlery. Chewing gum, sunflower seeds, or any other product that could generate litter are not permitted.

Attendees are responsible for managing their own waste. Food may not be consumed in areas designated exclusively for food service or in corridors, vomitories, emergency stairways, access points, landings, or any other location used for circulation, for safety reasons.

General Conduct

The following are prohibited and are grounds for expulsion from the Roig Arena Facilities:

  • Failing to comply with these rules of access and conduct, or any others applicable to the specific event or show, as well as failing to follow instructions regarding seating and safety issued by security forces or the Operator’s private security.

  • Disturbing public order, initiating or participating in fights, brawls, or any kind of public disorder. Committing acts of violence or aggression of any kind. Throwing any object.

  • Chanting, expressing, or displaying insults, sounds, or behaviors that incite violence or terrorism, or that target a person or group based on race or ethnicity, disability, religion or beliefs, sex, or sexual orientation, as well as any act that harms the honor, privacy, or image of the Operator and its associates.

  • Remaining in corridors, vomitories, emergency stairways, access points, landings, or other areas intended for circulation, for safety reasons.

  • Entering the playing area, areas reserved for event staff, or any other area not intended for spectators.

  • Smoking inside the Roig Arena Facilities, whether indoors or outdoors. The use of e-cigarettes or vapes is also prohibited.

  • Disturbing other attendees, standing on seats, or blocking access points. The Operator may require spectators to remain seated in their assigned seats.

  • Failing to follow the Operator’s security staff instructions during evacuation, and disturbing nearby residents.

  • Collecting statistical data related to the event and/or competitions in any form, unless for strictly personal and private use.

Animals

No animals are allowed inside the Roig Arena Facilities, except for duly certified assistance dogs.

Tickets

Attendees must keep their ticket, whether printed or digital, while inside the Roig Arena Facilities.

No exchanges or refunds will be accepted.

Attendees must occupy only the seat assigned to them according to their ticket or access pass, and must present it upon request by security forces or any employee or collaborator of the Operator.

Maximum capacity limits must be respected. The Operator reserves the right to deny entry to attendees exceeding the authorized number of tickets. The event organizer is solely responsible for any consequences arising from exceeding the permitted sales capacity, including legal penalties, complaints, reputational damage to the Roig Arena, and any other resulting liabilities.

Once an attendee leaves the Roig Arena Facilities, re-entry will not be permitted.

Access may be denied to anyone holding a ticket that was not purchased through official channels.

Attendees agree to fully cooperate with the Operator’s security staff and competent authorities regarding any action or request for information, both inside the Roig Arena Facilities and in the surrounding areas.

Failure to comply with any of these rules, or any others established by applicable law, will result in loss of entry rights and immediate expulsion from the Roig Arena Facilities, in addition to any legal or administrative consequences. The Operator will not be liable for any effects resulting from such noncompliance.

The Operator reserves all judicial and extrajudicial rights of action that may apply.
