WOW FC Returns to Roig Arena With WOW 34 Aiming To Make History Once Again

On 21 November, WOW FC returns to Roig Arena for WOW 34, a special fight card through which the promotion aims to make history once again following the success of its last event, held on 11 April, which set a new attendance record for an MMA event in Spain with 14,000 spectators.

The Spanish promotion, whose partners include two-time world champion Ilia Topuria and global superstar Cristiano Ronaldo, has assembled an outstanding fight card. This time, the main event will feature two of the best flyweights on the international scene. On one side will be Luis Iván “El Niño Azteca” Rodríguez, who made an impressive debut with the promotion last March and is now looking to move closer to a flyweight title shot. His opponent will be former UFC fighter Felipe Dos Santos, who has shared the cage with elite competitors such as Manel Kape and Lone’er Kavanagh.

The co-main event will see César Arzamendia face Enrique “Wasabi” Marín in what will be the retirement fight of one of the most influential figures in Spanish MMA history and the flagship athlete of Seville’s Sutemi Gym. Both fighters competed in the UFC more than a decade ago, and their paths now cross again to add further excitement to a unique event.

Also featured on the card is David Hervías, who returns after making his debut at Roig Arena a few months ago to take on Luis “El Matador” Hernández. Hernández will be making his promotional debut after securing finishes in five of his six professional victories and arrives on a five-fight winning streak. It represents a major challenge for “The Boogeyman”, one of the brightest prospects in Spanish MMA.

Fans will also have the opportunity to enjoy other high-level bouts, including Mor Dieye vs Timur Kurbankadiev and Michele Balducci vs Dimitri Barkaia, a matchup between the Italian amateur champion and the Spanish amateur champion. Once again, WOW FC promises an unforgettable event featuring some of the best national and international MMA talent.

As a prelude to the event, an open-to-the-public press conference will take place in Valencia on Wednesday, 18 November (venue to be confirmed), featuring the main fighters on the card. More details will be provided to the media in the coming days. The event will give fighters the opportunity to answer questions and take part in the traditional ceremonial face-off ahead of the official weigh-ins on Friday, 20 November.
