Vetusta Morla Brings Together More Than 14,000 People in Its Roig Arena Debut
The concert marked the band's reunion with its Valencian audience after a two-year hiatus.
The performance also served to premiere several unreleased songs that will be part of the band's upcoming album.

The Madrid-based band Vetusta Morla reunited with its Valencian audience tonight in a concert that brought together more than 14,000 people at Roig Arena. The event, which also marked the group's debut at the Valencia venue, is part of the tour “Gira de vuelta. Canciones de ida”, through which the band returns to the road after a two-year break and opens a new creative chapter marked by the release of new material.
The show began with four songs previewing the band's forthcoming album. Following the recent release of “Si vuelves” and the publication today of “Bailar en Beirut”, both tracks featured in the opening moments of the concert alongside “Mi colección de duelos” and “De alguna forma”, giving the audience the opportunity to hear some of the group's newest creations performed live.
From that point on, Vetusta Morla delivered a setlist spanning the different stages of its career, confirming the strong bond it maintains with several generations of fans. Songs such as “La deriva”, “Golpe maestro”, “Maldita dulzura”, “Mapas”, “Finisterre”, “Valiente” and “La cuadratura del círculo” were enthusiastically received by those in attendance.
The concert also left room for the discovery of more unreleased material. At Roig Arena, the band premiered “No dirás que no” and, during the encore, “El campo de violín”, two new compositions that showcase the group's determination to look towards the future without abandoning the identity that has defined its career.
After more than two hours of music, the band brought the show to a close with a collective celebration of some of its most iconic songs. The final stretch, featuring “Consejos de sabios”, “Copenhague” and “Los días raros”, turned Vetusta Morla's debut at Roig Arena into a night marked by emotion, reunion and anticipation for the arrival of a new chapter in the band's discography.
