Queens of the Stone Age to perform in Valencia for the first time on June 21 at Roig Arena

Queens of the Stone Age will perform for the first time in Valencia on June 21. Roig Arena will host the concert as part of their European tour presenting their new album, Perfecth. Josh Homme, Troy Van Leeuwen, Michael Shuman, Dean Fertita, and Jon Theodore will bring their unmistakable sound and magnetic live performances to the stage, combining tracks from their new album with songs from across the different eras of their extensive career.

Produced by Josh Homme alongside band member Michael Shuman, Perfecth is an album that explores love in its many forms: love for family, friends, and others who leave a mark on our lives. Its nine tracks journey through both the bonds that can push us to the limit and those that help us rebuild ourselves.

The record is born from the spirit of kintsugi, the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery by mending its cracks with gold—a philosophy centered on the idea that what has been broken can find new beauty through its repair. In Perfecth, this concept becomes a metaphor for the band's collective evolution and the clarity gained through a process of transformation.

Recorded across sessions in various locations, from New Orleans to Los Angeles, the album moves seamlessly between intense and atmospheric sounds, dark and menacing passages, delicate moments, and strikingly unpredictable compositions.

“Each song feels like it comes from a different world,” explains Josh Homme. “And that’s intentional, because it’s about bringing together all these emotions revolving around love, desire, foolishness, and the kind of wisdom that arrives as a gift from it all.”

With Perfecth, Queens of the Stone Age continues to expand its musical universe with a work that connects the different pieces of their career, transforming them into a fresh expression of their artistic identity.
