Roig Arena will host Estopa’s only concert in 2026 on November 28, featuring the talent of singer-songwriter Mafalda Cardenal as a special guest. Through this event, Iberdrola, Founding Partner of the Valencian venue, continues celebrating its 125th anniversary, sharing energy with citizens through music.
In addition, ticket purchases will contribute to social projects run by five organizations: la Asociación Española contra el Cáncer, Acción contra el Hambre, Fundación Tu Techo —which provides housing, psychological support and training for vulnerable young people and individuals with disabilities—, Betania —supporting families affected by the DANA in Valencia— and Fundación Integra, focused on improving employability for people at risk of social exclusion and with disabilities.
Estopa, a fully established duo
From their early days performing in small venues to winning a singer-songwriter contest in Horta-Guinardó in 1998, their growth has been as organic as it has been unstoppable. With a demo of around 40 songs, they caught the attention of Sony Music and released their debut album, Estopa, in 1999. The record sold over 1.4 million copies and immediately turned them into a musical phenomenon. Songs like “La raja de tu falda” became part of the collective imagination, marking the beginning of a unique career.
Their sound revolutionized rumba by blending it with rock and pop, and by narrating everyday life with irony, emotion and authenticity. Over the years, albums such as Destrangis, ¿La calle es tuya? and Fuego have consolidated a career that has sold more than 5 million copies and earned major awards, including Ondas Awards and a Latin Grammy nomination.
What truly defines Estopa is their ability to transcend generations. Their music has accompanied those who grew up with them while also connecting with new audiences. In 2024, they marked one of the most significant milestones of their career by celebrating their 25th anniversary, releasing Estopía and embarking on a landmark tour. That same year, they received major distinctions such as the Gold Medal for Merit in Fine Arts and the Ondas Award for Lifetime Achievement.
In 2026, Estopa remains firmly established as a cultural phenomenon — the story of two brothers from Cornellà who, more than 25 years after starting from scratch, continue to shape one of the most important careers in Spanish music with authenticity and honesty.
Mafalda Cardenal, a new phenomenon among young audiences

Her breakthrough came in 2022 with “pa que me cantes en el coche”, followed by hits such as “a ella la llevas a París”, “ni hablamos” and “si tiene que ser será”. In 2023, her single “tu fan” became a global viral hit, reaching No. 1 in more than 25 countries and surpassing 60 million streams. In 2025, she released her debut album Mis Notas de Voz, an 18-track project written and produced entirely by herself, reinforcing her authenticity and personal storytelling.
