Scottish Band Deacon Blue To Perform at Roig Arena Auditorium Hall on 24 September 2027
The band is embarking on a new tour to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the release of its debut album, “Raintown”.

Scottish band Deacon Blue will perform at Sala Auditorio Roig Arena on 24 September 2027 as part of the tour celebrating the 40th anniversary of “Raintown”, the band’s debut album, released in 1987.
Ricky Ross, Deacon Blue’s lead singer and frontman, says: “When we made our first record, none of us imagined that, forty years later, there would still be an audience wanting to hear it played live. Recreating the songs and atmosphere of that debut album will be a huge joy for us.”
Ross has also revealed that the first part of the concert will feature a complete performance of “Raintown”, while the second half will focus on the band’s greatest hits. “We’re thrilled that you’re still here to join us on a new adventure,” he adds.
With more than seven million records sold, Deacon Blue has built an extensive catalogue over the past four decades. The band has placed twelve singles in the UK Top 40, while albums such as “When The World Knows Your Name” and the compilation “Our Town” reached number one in the UK. The band continues to expand its career with new releases. Its most recent album, “The Great Western Road”, reached number 3 on the UK charts, reaffirming Deacon Blue’s enduring appeal four decades after its debut.
