Rawayana’s Trippy Pop Conquers the Roig Arena

More than 10,000 people gathered this Sunday at the Roig Arena to enjoy a performance by Rawayana, one of the most prominent bands in the new Latin American music scene. The Venezuelan group has won over audiences worldwide thanks to a unique blend of reggae, pop, soul, and Caribbean rhythms—a fusion they have coined as "trippy pop."

The concert, the sole Valencia date on their "¿Dónde Está el After? World Tour," lasted nearly three hours. Conceived as a massive collective celebration, the show stood out for its meticulously designed visuals and a concept centered around the "afterparty"—that continuous celebration after everything seems to have ended—turning the venue into a non-stop dance floor.

The night kicked off with Abeja, Tony, and Fofo taking the stage, followed by Beto Montenegro’s entrance, which drew the first massive ovation from the crowd. "Soltero," "Bienvenidos a la Tierra," and "Dame Un Break"—tracks from their latest album—opened a relentless setlist packed with the band’s biggest hits.

One of the night's highlights came with "Binikini," popularised alongside Danny Ocean, and "Feriado," the track that earned them a Latin Grammy for Best Pop Song. Caribbean sounds took center stage during "Hora Loca," right before the band surprised the crowd by moving to a second stage positioned in the middle of the floor.

From this secondary stage, Rawayana kept the party going to the rhythm of tracks like "Conga," "Bendito," "Coronando," and "Veneka," which saw some of the loudest sing-alongs of the evening. For the final stretch, the band returned to the main stage to close the night with "Amor de contrabando," "Inglés en Miami," and "Se vienen cositas," capping off a vibrant performance that confirms the Venezuelan group's peak artistic moment.
