Xavier Rudd Sings To Nature And Spirituality At Roig Arena

  • The Australian artist played several instruments on stage, with the didgeridoo standing out.

  • “Follow The Sun” and “Where To Now” were among the songs performed during the concert.

Just days after the start of the EuroUK Tour 2025, multi-instrumentalist Xavier Rudd arrived at Roig Arena, fulfilling his promise to deliver the most complex solo show of his career. Singer Finojet and his eclectic sound opened the evening with a performance featuring acoustic and electric guitars, and even harmonica.

“It’s the European country I enjoy the most because the audience is completely different—there’s so much energy, they’re more expressive and welcoming,” said Xavier Rudd at the start of the tour. That connection with the audience came alive from the first chords of “Let Me Be,” a song where Rudd showcased his multi-instrumental talent. Barefoot on stage, as he always performs, the Australian artist revisited the most iconic songs of his discography, all deeply rooted in spiritual connection with nature. He played up to five instruments simultaneously, with his signature didgeridoo—an Australian Aboriginal instrument—taking center stage.

From the melodic and innocent “Storm Boy” to the powerful “Spirit Bird,” Xavier Rudd guided his audience through an introspective journey closely tied to nature. The emotional peak of the concert came with “Follow The Sun,” his most celebrated song, which grows even stronger in live performance. The meditative tone of “Where To Now” closed the evening, inviting reflection on life’s direction and a reconnection with our most primal emotions.
