Xavibo delivers a night of introspection and closeness at the Roig Arena Auditorium
The Mallorcan artist presented songs from his latest album, “No te enamores”, while also revisiting his most well‑known compositions.
Xavibo took to the stage this evening at the Roig Arena Auditorium to present the songs from his new album “No te enamores”, in a concert that forms part of the tour of the same name. For nearly two hours, the Mallorcan artist performed a 34‑song setlist that, in addition to his best‑known tracks, also included his most notable collaborations and even left room for covers of songs by other artists.
The evening began around nine o’clock with “Adrede”, a song in which Xavibo reflects on how memories of the past can shape the present. It was followed by “Besos en la nariz”, “El brillo” and “Lo malo de lo bueno”, the latter two taken from his most recent record. If Xavibo’s lyrics are defined by anything, it is their clear introspective vocation, something he demonstrated in a live performance that delved into feelings such as nostalgia, heartbreak and doubt.
“Todo se va” addresses the fleeting nature of things, a reflection that finds its counterbalance in “No todo se va”, focused on what survives change, even as it transforms. At the midpoint of the concert, Xavibo performed “Todo azul”, “Cansado de estar triste” and “Haciendo na”, as well as his version of “En qué estrella estará” —originally performed by Nena Daconte— which was sung along to by the entire audience.
Before entering the final stretch, Xavibo performed “Necesito dormir” and “Sensaciones”, a song in which he reflects on the emotions that follow a breakup. The Mallorcan artist bid farewell to the audience with an emotional closing made up of “No te enamores” and “Tanta vida”.
