The Roig Arena Auditorio will host “Beatles Monumental” on October 23, an ambitious and contemporary live tribute to the legacy of The Beatles, performed by the Late Motiv Band. The concert arrives in Valencia following a successful tour that has previously visited cities such as Madrid, Barcelona, and Málaga.
Organised by El Caimán Producciones and En Plan, the project takes as its point of departure the only concerts the British band performed in Spain in 1965, in Madrid and Barcelona, during the Franco era. Though brief, this episode proved decisive and remains a significant chapter in Spain’s recent cultural history, serving here as the narrative thread that shapes the show.
On stage, the Late Motiv Band—made up of Carles “Litus” Ruiz, Nico Nieto, Coke Santos, Mac Hernández, and Érika López—reinterpret this repertoire from a contemporary perspective, combining solid musicianship with a fresh approach. All members bring extensive experience from collaborations with artists such as Coque Malla, Ariel Rot, and Josele Santiago, and approach the songs with deep respect while avoiding imitation.
An open repertoire spanning every phase of the band
Rather than focusing on a single era, “Beatles Monumental” blends songs from the 1965 concerts with classics from different periods of The Beatles’ career, offering a broad journey through their discography. Guest artists also take part, contributing new interpretations and ensuring that each live performance is a unique experience.
Since its premiere in 2025, the show has featured collaborations with artists such as Rufus T. Firefly, Anni B Sweet, and Rubén Pozo, consolidating a proposal that connects with a diverse audience while keeping the focus firmly on the music.
Beyond being a tribute, the concert functions as a live re‑imagining of a repertoire that continues to define the standards of popular music—songs embedded in the collective imagination, presented here in a format designed for the stage, with production and staging that reflect the magnitude of their legacy.
