Roig Arena Celebrates Its Half-Year Milestone With 930,000 attendees

In its first six months of operation, Roig Arena, Valencia’s new multi-purpose venue promoted by Juan Roig, has already welcomed more than 930,000 people who have attended one of the 182 sports, music, entertainment, and corporate events held there during this period.

As the home of Valencia Basket, Roig Arena has recorded a total of 370,000 attendees at the men’s and women’s first-team games (both of which compete in their national leagues as well as the EuroLeague). In addition, 102,000 fans attended the Copa del Rey, hosted at the venue from February 19 to 22.

On the musical front, the more than 60 concerts held at the venue have brought together a total of 410,000 attendees (50,000 of them in the Roig Arena Auditorium), with 31 sold‑out shows. Highlights include performances by Camilo, Manuel Carrasco, Quevedo (the venue’s attendance record-holder with more than 19,000 attendees), Joaquín Sabina, Mónica Naranjo, Roxette, David Bisbal, Il Volo, Fito & Fitipaldis, and André Rieu. The venue also hosted the LOS40 Music Awards, featuring artists such as Rosalía, Ed Sheeran, and Myles Smith.

Meanwhile, the nearly 60 corporate events held in the various spaces of Roig Arena have attracted around 50,000 attendees, with standout occasions such as the Valencian Economy Night, AECOC, the event in support of the Mediterranean Corridor, and the Cerámica Night Experience.

The activity at the Valencian venue is already having an international impact. Pollstar, the world's leading magazine and data platform dedicated exclusively to the live entertainment and concert industry, has included Roig Arena in its February issue rankings.

In the category of venues with a capacity of 15,000 to 30,000 spectators, the American publication places Roig Arena in the eight position worldwide in Janary based on tickets sold. As for the 'Magna Charta' ranking of arenas in the same category for the full year 2025 in Europe, Roig Arena is also included: it ranks 31st in the continent in tickets sales with only 4 months of activity (from September to December).
