Roig Arena Hosts the Greatest Tribute Ever Paid to Nino Bravo
20 major artists from different generations and musical styles took to the stage to pay the greatest tribute to one of the legends of Spanish music
Each artist performed one of his songs during the first concert held at Roig Arena, which sold out completely
Roig Arena, the multipurpose venue promoted by Juan Roig, experienced a succession of powerful and emotional moments tonight during its first concert. With the venue completely full and sold out, Bravo, Nino, the concert organized by Westin Mayer and GTS that traced the life of Nino Bravo through his songs, featured some of the most influential artists of today, representing multiple generations.
Accompanied by a live orchestra and band, a major audiovisual production, and a stage design crafted to make every moment unforgettable, each artist took the stage to honor Nino Bravo’s legacy through songs that still move audiences today, turning the show into a unique and unrepeatable tribute — a historic event and the greatest homage ever paid to Nino Bravo.
The concert unfolded with perfect synchronization between musicians, visuals, and key moments of the show, blending live performances with special duets featuring Nino through projections and exclusive arrangements. The show followed a dynamic and emotional script that journeyed through Nino Bravo’s musical history, from his beginnings to his rise as a legend of Spanish music.
Each guest artist played a key role in the narrative, with performances tailored to their style and voice. This was not a conventional concert, but a sensory and emotional journey that fused music, history, and technology.
The concert began with an emotional high point: the appearance of Nino Bravo as a hologram performing his posthumous song Vivir for the first time — a track he recorded as a demo just 72 hours before his tragic accident.
The first artist to take the stage, already with the audience deeply moved, was Malú, who delivered Mi gran amor with her unmistakable voice and heartfelt sensitivity, framed by this colossal production.
She was followed, in order, by Andrés Suárez with a faithful rendition of the iconic Noelia; rising star Luis Cortés with a more urban version of Vete; Chambao with the Valencian anthem and fan favorite Mi Tierra; the unmistakable artist who brought Eres todo cuanto quiero into a bossa nova style with prominent winds and strings; and Pitingo, who infused Es el viento with flamenco flair.
A magical moment transformed Roig Arena when Eva Ferri, Nino Bravo’s daughter, appeared on stage to sing Vuelve in an emotional duet with her father, recreated through projection and voice.
Víctor Manuel, the only artist present who also participated in the 1973 tribute, brought maturity and experience with Libre, one of Nino Bravo’s most beloved and timeless songs.
Sole Giménez got the entire venue singing with her warm pop-jazz fusion of Te quiero, Te quiero, followed by young Sandra Valero with Amanecer, the energy of Revolver with a rock version of Puerta del amor, and youth idol Juanjo Bona with a majestic and powerful performance of Esa será mi casa.
Marta Sánchez, true to her elegant and sophisticated style, brought a stylistic shift to the stage, and Varry Brava, La Habitación Roja, and La Casa Azul got the crowd on their feet with a fresh take on Mi Tierra. After Miguel Poveda’s rendition of Como todos, with the concert nearing its end and the audience feeling they were witnessing something historic, Vanesa Martín sang Por qué in her first appearance.
And of course, Pablo López couldn’t be missing from this tribute. Vanesa Martín stayed on stage to welcome him, and together they silenced the entire venue with a deeply moving duet of Cartas Amarillas, accompanied only by Pablo’s inseparable piano, ending with the audience on their feet asking for more.
The gala closed with David Bisbal singing the song he loves most and feels most connected to, América América, and inviting all the artists back on stage for a dazzling finale with Nino Bravo’s ultimate classic, Un beso y una flor, turning Roig Arena into a dream come true.
Bravo, Nino has become the greatest tribute event ever held in honor of Nino Bravo. A cutting-edge and emotional show that celebrated the artist’s essence through powerful voices, a high-quality symphonic band, immersive visuals, and state-of-the-art technology.
To mark the 80th anniversary of Nino Bravo’s birth, Universal Music will release Bravo, Nino. Las Canciones de una Leyenda. 80 Aniversario, an updated compilation of the Valencian artist’s recorded work, featuring significant new content compared to previous releases.
