Raphael Brings Roig Arena To Its Feet In A Memorable Concert
The Spanish music icon performed a journey through the greatest anthems of his career.
Nearly 7,000 people joined the artist from Linares in his first performance at Roig Arena.
The Valencian audience reunited with Raphael at Roig Arena during a magical evening in which the artist performed the greatest anthems of his career. A true icon of Spanish music, Raphael had the nearly 7,000 attendees on their feet in a concert that will leave a lasting impression.
“My concert at Roig Arena will smell of celebration, of present and future,” the singer had said just hours before the show; and tonight he proved it on stage. After a brief pause due to health reasons, Raphael has returned this year to share the thrill of live music with his audience on his ‘Raphaelísimo’ tour.
Throughout the night, the artist combined the great anthems of his career —true classics of Spanish music— with songs from "Ayer… aún", his latest album. The concert began in grand fashion with “La Noche” and “Yo sigo siendo aquel”, followed soon by two of his greatest hits that got the audience on their feet: “Digan lo que digan” and “Mi gran noche”.
Over the nearly two hours of the concert, the artist from Linares performed timeless songs such as “Cuando tú no estás”, “Estar enamorado”, “El tamborilero” and “En carne viva”. To close the evening, the audience surrendered to the performances of three generational anthems: “Yo soy Aquel”, “Escándalo” and “Como yo te amo”; a golden finale to a unique night at Roig Arena that will remain in the memory of the Valencian public.
