The singer María Arnal will perform at the Roig Arena Auditorium on April 2. She is one of the most innovative voices in contemporary music in Spain. Based in Barcelona, she combines her work as a composer—fusing avant-pop, electronic music, and traditional polyphonic sounds—with projects that explore sound, technology, and art.

Her music has received critical acclaim and numerous awards, including several Independent Music Awards, the Ciutat de Barcelona Prize (2017), RTVE’s El Ojo Crítico Award (2018), the Ruido Award (2022), and the Gaudí Award (2025).

As a composer, she has participated in groundbreaking projects such as "AIR", a sound piece for the 2021 Venice Architecture Biennale, and "SIRENA", a generative choral work that interacts in real time with Barcelona’s big data, created for the “Hipermirador Torre Glòries 2022” in collaboration with producer John Talabot.

In 2024, she composed the original soundtrack for "Polvo Serán", winner of the Toronto Film Festival, directed by Carlos Marquès-Marcet. The soundtrack was nominated for Best Original Music at the Feroz Awards and won at the Gaudí Awards. She also composed the original song for the film "La Virgen Roja", earning a nomination at the Goya Awards.
