The long-awaited “Tour Salvaje” by Manuel Carrasco arrived at Roig Arena —the new multipurpose venue in Valencia promoted by Juan Roig— in what was an unforgettable night for his fans. For two and a half hours, the artist from Huelva took a journey through his entire discography in a show that is part of the most important musical tour of his more than two-decade career.
With a stage design inspired by nature and visuals and costumes in line with this aesthetic, Manuel Carrasco reunited with his Valencian audience around 8:30 p.m. to the rhythm of “El grito del niño” and “Pueblo salvaje.” Throughout the show, attendees were able to sing along to emblematic songs such as “No dejes de soñar,” a true anthem to perseverance, or “Mujer de las mil batallas.”
One of the most emotional moments of the concert came with the gospel choir that accompanied Carrasco during the performance of “Que nadie.” The sound of drums set the pace for “Tambores de guerra,” while in “Yo quiero vivir,” Carrasco, selfie camera in hand, came down from the stage to sing with his audience. During the show, “Los sueños perdidos” and “Museo del Prado,” songs from his latest work, were also performed. In addition, he dedicated a bulería to the Valencian people.
The stage, with a mobile catwalk, allowed Carrasco to get closer to his fans at different moments of the show. The artist put the finishing touch to the evening with “Tan solo tú” and “Tengo el poder,” leaving an indelible mark on the attendees during what was his first visit to Roig Arena.
