The TIIM Awards, To Be Presented On December 10 At Roig Arena, Already Have Their Finalists
The awards, which recognize the potential of music tourism in the Valencian Community, feature seven categories.
This initiative is organized by the Association of Music Promoters of the Valencian Community, with the collaboration of Turisme Comunitat Valenciana and València Music City.
The first edition of the TIIM Awards already has its finalists. These awards, aimed at initiatives, projects, and individuals involved in the development of music tourism, include seven categories. The award ceremony will take place on Wednesday, December 10, at Roig Arena in Valencia. Tickets for the event will be available to the public soon.
Among the finalists, festivals such as Pirineos Sur (Aragón), Ribeira Sacra (Galicia), Prestoso Fest (Asturias), and Sierra Sonora (La Rioja) stand out, all of which have received multiple nominations. Likewise, Valencian candidates are noteworthy: the cities of Alicante, Benidorm, and Gandia, as well as Els Alforins and Utiel-Requena, are competing for the title of Musical Destination of the Year in the Valencian Community. Also nominated are festivals such as BigSound, Dona Festival, Música pel Clima (held in Valencia), and Rototom Sunsplash (held in Benicàssim).
The TIIM Awards were created this year as part of the TIIM (Tourism & Music Industry) project. After six editions of professional meetings between music and tourism industry professionals, the initiative now evolves into a day of dialogue with renowned artists (the TIIM Experiences) and the aforementioned awards.
Despite this change, the objectives remain the same: to promote sustainable development models; contribute to tourism seasonality reduction; strengthen synergies between both economic activities; and position the Valencian Community as an international benchmark in music tourism. The event is an initiative of the Association of Music Promoters of the Valencian Community (MusicaProCV), with the collaboration of Turisme Comunitat Valenciana, València Music City, and other entities.
