The British band Suede will perform a concert on March 24 at the Roig Arena Auditorium, the new multipurpose venue in Valencia promoted by Juan Roig. After touring the UK, the iconic group’s tour will arrive in Spain to present their new and acclaimed album Antidepressants.”

Released on September 5, Antidepressants features 11 tracks in its standard version, where the band explores the tensions of modern life. Barely a week after its release, Suede’s tenth album has already received very positive reviews. With the release of "Autofiction" in 2022, the band achieved its highest chart position in over 20 years. This passion and vitality, they say, is what has driven the sound of their tenth record.

The most recent single, Dance With The Europeans,” released a few weeks ago, captures the power of unity and shared experience, as lead singer Brett Anderson sings. The idea for the song was born during a concert in Spain, where Anderson felt a very special connection with the audience. “I thought of the phrase ‘Dancing With The Europeans.’ There’s something about that word, ‘Europeans,’ that I love. The phrase summed up the experience of seeking connection in a disconnected world. That feeling of: where do we find those bonds with others? That concert in Spain broke down the barriers they try to impose on us,” the singer explained.

Tickets for Suede’s concert at Roig Arena go on sale next Friday, September 19, at 10 a.m. at our website.
