A move requires time, reflection, and decision-making. It is a nostalgic process marking the end of a chapter, yet thrilling for all that is to come—a transformation that demands maturity and courage. This idea is the seed of Una mudanza, Hens’ third album, in which he reflects on movement, renewal, and the belief that life, like music, is in constant evolution. After the success of Hensito (2021) and No Me Odio Tanto (2023), this new LP has now arrived on digital platforms.
Nostalgia, maturity, and the inevitable changes brought by adulthood take center stage in this new project. Direct, unfiltered emotions blend with a sound that leans more toward rock, with indie‑punk influences, prominent guitars, and a rawer sonic texture than ever before. Firm drums, synthesizers, vocal effects, and the combined use of acoustic and electric guitars complete this renewed sound.
A perfect example of this musical approach—and one of the album’s standout moments—is El que no sabe estar con nadie, the focus track that fuses an honest, intimate, and confessional lyric with a 2000s‑inspired rock sound designed to play, sing, and enjoy at full volume. The song stems from the personal experience of feeling lost, of emotionally falling behind, and yet embracing the chaos of change, of moving, of transitioning from youth to maturity.
To carry out a move, you need friends to help you—and Hens hasn’t hesitated to rely on some of his for this album. The artist gets “hopelessly nostalgic” in his collaboration with RATA, celebrates change and chosen paths with Xavibo, and delivers one of the rawest and most melancholic songs of his career alongside Mi Compa el Chino.
The tracks on Una mudanza are made for live performance. That’s why Hens will embark on a tour in the coming weeks that will culminate at the Roig Arena Auditorium. Get your tickets here and experience Hens’ sound live!
