Gibraltarian band Melon Diesel has included the Roig Arena Auditorium in its comeback tour, with a concert scheduled to take place on October 16. Having become a major phenomenon in Spain in the late 1990s and early 2000s, Melon Diesel is one of the most recognizable pop‑rock bands in Spanish music.
With more than 350,000 records sold, a Latin GRAMMY nomination, and a catalogue featuring anthems such as “Contracorriente,” “Por Ti,” “Quiero un Camino,” and “Grita,” their music has maintained a lasting influence on the Spanish market over the past 25 years, inspiring new generations of artists and audiences.
Melon Diesel’s return, which coincides with the band currently working on a new album they aim to release mid‑year, carries a sense of exceptionality: their original run as a band was as brief as it was intense. The group toured and firmly established itself over just three years (2000–2003), before disbanding in 2003, leaving a significant legacy despite their short time together.
Tickets for Melon Diesel’s concert, taking place on Friday, October 16 at the Roig Arena Auditorium, are now available at our website.
