Los Delinqüentes Celebrate The Legacy of The “Garrapatero Feeling” at Roig Arena
The figure of Migue Benítez, the band’s singer and guitarist who passed away in 2004 at the age of 21, was strongly present throughout the concert thanks to the integration of his image and voice on the stage screen.
In addition to songs from the album “El sentimiento garrapatero que nos traen las flores”, the band also performed tracks such as “La primavera trompetera” and “Pirata del estrecho”.

Tonight, Los Delinqüentes celebrated the 25th anniversary of their debut album “El sentimiento garrapatero que nos traen las flores” in style at Roig Arena, in a very special concert attended by 10,000 people. The event is part of the tour marking the band’s return to the stage fifteen years after their farewell.
Throughout the concert, the figure of Migue Benítez — the group’s singer and guitarist, who passed away in 2004 at the age of 21 — was deeply present. At different moments of the show, his voice sounded in sync with those of El Canijo de Jerez and Diego “Ratón,” while his image was projected on the stage screen, turning the concert into a heartfelt tribute to a key figure in the garrapatero universe.
The show opened with a full performance of “El sentimiento garrapatero que nos traen las flores”, played in its original track order. Particularly emotional moments were experienced with songs such as “Duende Garrapata” and “El aire de la calle,” two of the most representative tracks from this early phase of the band’s career. After completing the album that marked a turning point in their trajectory, the band moved into an acoustic section with a touching version of Extremoduro’s “Pepe Botika,” before continuing with “De los matorrales,” “Poeta encadenado,” and “Los Delinqüentes y la Banda del Ratón,” songs from their most successful and consolidated period.
The final stretch of the concert became a true collective celebration with “La primavera trompetera,” followed by a tribute to the fictional character “El abuelo Frederick” with Sanguijuelas del Guadiana and a reaffirmation of the spirit of freedom in “Pirata del estrecho.” “Chinchetas en el aire” delivered one of the most intimate moments of the night before the definitive closing with “Trabubulandia,” bringing an evening filled with emotion, memory and shared music to a powerful close.
