DDT Charts Four Decades of Rock at the Auditorio Roig Arena

  • The legendary band formed in Ufa (Russia) is one of the most influential groups in Russian rock.

The legendary Russian rock band DDT performed tonight at the Auditorio Roig Arena, delivering an intense and emotional journey through its extensive and committed musical career.

Born in the Soviet underground scene in 1980 in the Russian city of Ufa, DDT is considered one of the most influential bands in Russian rock. Yuri Shevchuk, the band’s leader and only original member, is one of the most critical and respected voices in Russian rock. Their songs recurrently address themes such as freedom, ethical conflicts and social injustice, always from a lyrical and reflective perspective.

During the concert, the band performed some of its most emblematic songs, including tracks whose English translations are known as “What Is Autumn”, a song that uses the season as a metaphor for maturity and loss, and “Snowstorm”, one of their most sensory compositions, symbolizing an emotional storm marked by inner chaos.
