Dani Martín Celebrates 25 Years Of His Career On the Roig Arena Stage

  • The Madrid-born artist performed his greatest hits as a solo artist, as well as the most iconic songs from his time as frontman of El Canto del Loco.

  • “Zapatillas”, “Cero” and “Una foto en blanco y negro” were among the songs performed during tonight’s concert.

Dani Martín took to the Roig Arena stage tonight to deliver an intense and emotional journey through the songs that have marked the five lustra of his artistic career, as part of his “25 p*t*s años” tour. The Madrid-born artist brought together more than 16,000 people at the venue for the first of two sold-out concerts scheduled this month in Valencia, signing off on a memorable evening in which past and present came together.

The bar was set very high from the outset with a run of major anthems from El Canto del Loco — “Zapatillas”, “Volverá” and “Canciones” — sparking euphoria from the very first moments. After this powerful opening, Dani Martín delved into his solo career, evoking the emotional duality of “Desaparece” and “Vuelve”, before returning to the heavy-hitting songs of the band that first brought him fame, with tracks such as “Besos”, “Tal como eres”, “Son sueños” and “Puede ser”.

This constant back and forth between different stages of his career defined a concert that confirmed Dani Martín’s perfect connection across generations: reaching new audiences while continuing to captivate those who grew up with his music as the soundtrack to their lives.

During a section of the show, the artist slowed the pace to make room for the most intimate and emotional side of his repertoire. Songs such as “Cero”, “Emocional” and “Qué bonita la vida” delivered one of the most moving moments of the night, with a fully devoted audience singing along to every verse.

The musical journey continued with a leap into his most recent era, represented by a selection of songs from his latest album, El último día de nuestras vidas, including “Me vuelves puto loco”, “Carpe Diem”, “Novedades viernes” and “Burning Man”. From there, Dani Martín once again returned to the great El Canto del Loco anthems with “La madre de José”, “Volver a disfrutar”, “Una foto en blanco y negro” and “Ya nada volverá a ser como antes”.

The finale arrived as a joint celebration of all his career stages, interweaving songs from his solo career such as “La suerte de mi vida” and “El último día de nuestras vidas” with essential El Canto del Loco classics like “Peter Pan” and “Insoportable”.

Tomorrow, the artist will return to the Roig Arena stage for the second of the concerts scheduled this month. A musical journey that will continue on October 10 and 11, dates that will see Dani Martín become the artist who has performed the most times at the Valencian venue.
