Celtas Cortos Celebrates 40-Year Career at the Roig Arena Auditorium
The band from Valladolid sells out the Auditorium with a 24-song setlist spanning four decades of musical history.
Special guest appearances by Panxo (Zoo), Nega (Los Chikos del Maíz), Pablo Sánchez (La Raíz), and Gerard Sanz (La Pulquería) electrify the venue during an unforgettable concert.

The Roig Arena Auditorium experienced one of its most memorable nights as Celtas Cortos took the stage with their “40 Years Telling Tales” (40 años contando cuentos) tour. The legendary group from Valladolid played to a packed house on Valentine’s Day, delivering a powerful 24-song performance that journeyed through forty years of musical legacy.
The concert kicked off with the instrumental force of "El túnel de las delicias" fused with "Macedonia," a clear statement of intent that brought the crowd to its feet from the very first chords. Frontman Jesús Cifuentes acted as the master of ceremonies, forging a deep connection with the Valencian audience through socially conscious tracks such as "Trágame tierra," "Haz turismo," and "Legión de mudos."
The evening reached a new level of excitement with four surprise guest appearances. The collaborations included Pablo Sánchez (La Raíz) and Panxo (Zoo) on "El ritmo del mar," a hard-hitting performance by Nega (Los Chikos del Maíz) on "El emigrante," and the high-energy contribution of Gerard Sanz (La Pulquería) on "Ska del paro."
The final stretch of the show turned into a collective celebration of both nostalgia and relevance. Following the performance of "Riaño vivo" and the crowd-favorite "Cuéntame un cuento," the Roig Arena Auditorium became a single voice for the generational anthem "20 de abril."
For the finale, following the encores, the band saved the solemnity of "La senda del tiempo" and the indestructible optimism of "No nos podrán parar," making it clear that their message and music continue to resonate with undiminished strength in Valencia.
