Celtas Cortos Reveal The First Details Of Their Tour "40 Años Contando Cuentos"

Celtas Cortos have shared the setlist for "40 Años contando cuentos" and the musicians who will join them on stage. Already immersed in rehearsals and the countdown to the tour, Goyo, Alberto, and Jesús will perform at Roig Arena on February 14, 2026.

During the concert, Celtas Cortos will take fans on a journey through their most iconic songs, such as "La senda del tiempo", "El emigrante", "No nos podrán parar", "Retales de una vida", "Haz turismo", "Tranquilo majete", "20 de abril", and "Cuéntame un cuento" — the song that gives its name to the tour and to the 1991 album that changed the group’s trajectory. Also included are "El Blues del pescador", a Spanish version of The Waterboys’ "Fisherman's Blues" praised by Mike Scott himself; "Adiós Presidente", in its original instrumental version; and "Legión de mudos", a staple in their live shows.

For this special occasion, the band has announced the return of "Si no me veo no me creo", the first song to feature lyrics, and "Skaparate nacional", another intermittent composition in their career. Other essentials that will be performed include "Un millón de motivos", "Trágame tierra", "Gente distinta", "Que bailen los diablos", and "El mundo del revés", the latter from their most recent work, as well as "El túnel de las delicias", a tribute to their beginnings and their hometown.

The concert will last two and a half hours, dedicated to enjoying and dancing to 30 songs that are part of Spanish music history and remain in the memory of several generations.

On stage, alongside Jesús Cifuentes, Alberto García, and Goyo Yeves, will be the fun and energy that have always defined them, plus seven seasoned musicians. A large, well-coordinated band capable of covering the full history of Celtas Cortos and ensuring all the timbres and sounds that have shaped each album are present. The lineup includes Diego Martín (drums), Chuchi Marcos (bass), José Luis Sendino (electric guitar), Antón Dávila (bagpipes and flutes), Álvaro Zarzuela (trombone and trumpet), Jesús Bravo (keyboards and accordion), and Carlos Soto (baritone and alto sax), founding member of Celtas Cortos, who rejoins the band for this tour.

Celtas Cortos will accompany the celebration of their 40th anniversary with the release of an album on November 21, compiling the best songs from their extensive career.
